Qigong (chee gong) is a traditional Chinese system that includes simple movement, breathwork, visualization, and meditation. This profound inner medicine activates self-regulating systems in the body that are responsible for the balanced functioning of our tissues, organs, and glands. As a self-applied daily practice, it strengthens, cleanses, and circulates the body’s vital energy or "qi" (chee).
Qigong enhances the process of self-healing, supports the maintenance of optimum health, and has shown, in over 800 research studies, to be highly effective in the prevention and treatment of a wide range of chronic and degenerative diseases. These dynamic mind/body exercises require little physical effort and are extremely gentle and easy to learn.
