What Is Fitness & Life Wellness Coaching?

Many clients have specific health goals already in mind, but many also are trying to make changes in other aspects of their lives, including their careers or their overall sense of well-being.

The kind of coaching I offer doesn’t separate the many aspects of one’s life, but instead looks at all these elements within the context of the whole.

As your Fitness and Life Wellness coach we’ll work together as a team to identify your strengths and challenges and then develop realistic, attainable goals, and effectively map out strategies for success. All along the way, I’ll offer support and motivation providing encouragement for you to stay focused on the individual components of your plan as well as the big picture... your journey to optimal health and wellness.

Coaching is a guilt-free, no-nag zone, in which your integrated well-being is the number one priority. Throughout the process, you can use me as a "sounding board" or vent your frustrations in an atmosphere of understanding and acceptance.

How does it work?

Your "coaching sessions" will be conducted over the telephone in three 45-minute scheduled sessions per month. (Unlimited e-mail communication and "quick-calls" are included in the monthly fee.) This is a time efficient method that allows you to be coached from the convenience of your own home or office and without geographical restrictions.

What’s a Session Like?

You may wonder what we might talk about in a session? The answer: whatever it takes to help you take action and produce results. That means that we might:

  • Sometimes talk about goals, sometimes talk about strategy, sometimes we work on establishing boundaries.
  • Set up systems to assure that you get what you need to stay motivated.
  • Fortify other areas of your life that serve as the foundation of change.
  • Develop a plan to establish the support network and the environment you need to assure your success.
  • Implement methods to overcome relapse.
  • Identify stale habits and mindsets that you need to "let go" of in order to excel.
  • Find new ways to create the time and energy you require.
  • Celebrate your achievements.
  • Reverse your setbacks.

I’ll push when you need to be pushed, and support you when you need support.
